Description
The Lennox 56L32 Pressure Switch is an essential safety appliance meant for Lennox HVAC equipment, mostly furnaces used at higher altitudes. This small switch measures pressure in the system and is designed for compact spaces. The 56L32 is designed for altitudes of 7500 feet and above, where the pressure of the gas is affected and combustion not as efficient. The switch senses the pressure within the furnace by the amount of air pressure present. When the pressure drops below the standard 0.36-Inch water pressure that is associated with high altitude, the switch turns off the burner automatically to avoid the wrong gas combustion which can be hazardous.
