Description
The Lennox 11C31 is a scroll compressor which is an essentialpart of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment HVAC system. In contrast to the reciprocating compressors which work using pistons, the scroll compressor applies two meshing spiral scrolls to compress the refrigerant. The Lennox 11C31 model is meant for a single phase, 208/230V electrical supply and 60Hz frequency. It is 5.4 Inches in diameter, and has a cooling capacity of 32,600 BTU per hour (BTUH). Although the R22 refrigerant used in this model is currently being replaced because of environmental issues, the Lennox 11C31 may still be appropriate for use in new replacements to R22 systems.
