Description
The Lennox 71W41 Limit switch is a safety component developed for use in Lennox HVAC equipment most often used in furnaces and air handling units. This automatic switch is like a watchman who quietly oversees the temperature within your system to avoid reaching a point that is dangerous to the system. Used for a particular high limit range of L135°F, the switch isolates the power supply to the furnace or air handler in case the temperature rises beyond this limit. This helps avoid overheating that might cause your equipment to fail and possibly be a safety hazard the reset temperature of 105°F means that the system will start up again safely once things cool down.
