Description
Rheem-Ruud SP210239 Electric Lower Thermostat is a temperature-sensing component, which is used to control heating by detecting the temperature of the water and operating the heating circuit. It operates on an internal thermostat system which measures the temperature of the tank and closes the control contact. The thermostat is attached to the lower tank surface where the sensing plate is in contact with the tank and electrical terminals are attached to the element wiring. Temperature-sensitive switch assists in heating levels under control and aid in stable operation of the HVAC system.
