Description
The Resideo M847A1031 is a small and effective actuators that can be used for controlling the draft dampers in HVAC systems. This is a bracket mounted device that employs a chain linkage system to properly position the damper depending on signals from a low voltage thermostat or controller. It uses 24 VAC electricity and has a torque of 1.9 in-lb to open and close dampers consistently in temperatures of 40 to 125°F. This actuator is mainly used with solid fuel furnaces or boilers to control the flow of air and combustion chamber efficiency. The spring return feature of the actuator ensures fail-safe operation since the damper closes when power is off. It is flexible and therefore it can be installed in any building.
