Description
The Cleveland Controls NS2-1176-00 Pressure switch is manufactured to high standards for use in HVAC systems. It checks on the pressure of the system and when the pressure gets to a certain level, an electrical signal is produced. This signal can then be used to control diverse HVAC systems including compressors, fans, and valves among others. The switch works on a basic but efficient mechanism. It holds a central diaphragm that is capable of detecting pressure variations. When the system pressure rises or falls, the diaphragm bends and opens or closes a set of internal switches. Such contacts are normally used to make or break an electrical circuit and send a signal to the control system.
