Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-22862-04 Vent Safety Switch is an essential part which acts as a safety gear for your HVAC system. Functioning on rather a basic but efficient mechanism, this device keeps track of the temperature of the vent of your HVAC equipment. At temperatures above a dangerous level of 260°F, the switch turns off the system to avoid possible dangers such as fire or accumulation of carbon monoxide. However, this manual reset switch works with different Rheem and Ruud HVAC units. It is a must-have safety mechanism that affords your home enjoyable climate without jeopardizing your security.
