Description
The Littelfuse TL120A5T Lockout Timer is a solid-state timing component used to prevent immediate restart of a compressor after shutdown or power interruption. In HVAC systems, it is applied in compressor control circuits where it introduces a fixed delay before re-energizing the load, allowing system pressures to stabilise and reducing rapid short cycling. When the control signal opens or power is lost, the output remains off for the programmed lockout period before automatically resetting. It is typically installed inside control panels or unit electrical compartments.
