Description
The Cleveland Controls NS2-1015-00 Pressure Switch is used to monitor and act on low air pressure differential in HVAC systems. In particular, it is designed to measure a Pressure 0.30” water column, which means that it is rather sensitive to changes in pressure. This pressure switch works on a basic mechanism; a diaphragm in the switch is moved by the slightest pressure changes. This deflection activates a series of internal contacts that can be used to regulate sundry electrical appliances. When applied to HVAC systems, they find useful applications in several situations. It can be used to measure the static pressure over air filters so that the airflow is maintained and the filters are not blocked.
