Description
The Nordyne 669852R Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a fundamental element for R410A HVAC systems. The cooling power of the air conditioning system is optimized by controlling refrigerant flow into the evaporator. In order to measure the evaporator output temperature, a thermocouple is installed in the TXV. Based on this, it adjusts refrigerant flow rate that guarantees constant superheat, thus preventing system freeze-up and ineffective cooling.
