Description
The Amana-Goodman 0162G00007 Filter Drier is a refrigerant conditioning element that is used to eliminate moisture and solid particles in the refrigerant circuit. It passes through the drier flows over a desiccant, and then the fluid moves on to the metering process in HVAC systems. The cylindrical body is attached in line with the liquid line and this is a closed part of the refrigerant circuit. It is placed in liquid line between the condenser and expansion component that assists in the preservation of refrigerant purity and contributes to the stable operation of the system.
