Description
The ABB OS30FAJ12 3-Pole Fusible Disconnect Switch is a safety part used to disconnect circuits and protect them against overcurrents in different applications including HVAC systems. Approved for 30A and 600V, this switch uses class J fuses to achieve fast interruption in case of overloads, protecting equipment from getting damaged. It is mostly used with large motors and HVAC system units where it provides a reliable method of safely controlling power. Some of the advantages are a fast response to faults, low maintenance requirements due to fuse sacrificial current carrying ability and easily identifiable fuse blow-up.
