Description
The Amana-Goodman TXV-30 Thermal expansion valve applied to residential and light commercial air conditioning systems. It is for with R410A refrigerant in the system capacity between 1.5 to 2.5 tons. This component has significant functionality of controlling the inflation of the refrigerator evaporator. The TXV-30 incorporates a temperature-sensitive bulb that measures the temperature of the evaporator. As can be seen from this reading the valve is to regulate the refrigerant flow rate. the evaporator temperature increases the bulbs expands and thus opens the valve for a larger flow of refrigerant. the evaporator temperature is low the bulb gets small and hence reduces the flow of refrigerant.
