Description
Armstrong Furnace R37520B016 Rollout Switch is a safety temperature controller that monitors the conditions inside the burner area and stops functioning in case of high temperatures. It operates by detecting an increase in temperature with a thermal sensing element which opens the switch when the limit is reached at L275F and the control circuit stops burner operation when used in gas furnace HVAC systems. The switch is close to the burner or heat exchanger area where the sensing surface is located and electrical terminals are connected to the system control wiring. Circuit interruption triggered by temperature assists in avoiding unsafe conditions of the burner and facilitates stable operation of the furnace.
