Description
The Armstrong International 15B2 1/2” Float & Thermostatic Steam Trap is used for condensate removal in HVAC systems, it works at pressure of 15 PSI. This cast iron trap is in the horizontal position and has a 1/2” FEM NPT connection, ideal for many heating applications. It uses float mechanism in conjunction with a thermostatic air vent to provide for continuous drainage and adequate air and non-condensable gases expulsion. This capability increases system efficiency by shortening the time it takes to heat up and minimize steam loss. This trap is designed for use in heat exchangers and other steam heating equipment, it enhances energy efficiency and performance in low to medium pressure steam systems.
