The Armstrong International 125A3 F&T Trap is an essential component of HVAC systems, designed to efficiently remove condensate and air from steam lines. This trap, which measures 3/4 inch and has a pressure rating of 125 PSI, works on the principle of float and thermostatic action. As steam circulates through the system, condensate and air accumulate in the trap. The float mechanism detects the presence of condensate, causing it to rise and open the discharge valve, allowing the condensate and air to escape. When the condensate level drops, the float closes the valve to prevent steam loss.
