Description
The ASCO 8290A20 is a 1.5-inch normally closed-angle body solenoid valve that is a critical component in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The electronic mechanism regulates the flow of liquids, like water or refrigerant, by opening and closing. The valve stays closed to halt the flow when de-energized or when there is no power. From the reverse in the same direction, it opens to allow flow when it is electrified. For fail-safe applications, where the valve automatically closes in the event of a power outage to guarantee safety, this N/C design is perfect.
