The Auburn E5-3M6-2PK 6″ Type 3M Electrode 2-Pack offers the sensing and ignition capability of combustion control systems, which detect the presence of flame and promote ignition in heating equipment. The electrode assemblies are used in conducting small signals between the flame and the control module in order to ensure proper combustion. These are burners, furnaces and boilers in HVAC systems where precise detection of the flame is essential to their operation. They are placed close to the gas burner and collaborate with the ignition control board to begin and observe the flame.
