Description
The BASO Gas Products C661AFA-1C Intermittent Pilot Ignition Control is specifically used for proper ignition in different HVAC systems such as furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. It is powered by 24V and starts a 50-second trial to ignite the pilot. Every time the igniter is fired, a 15-second inter-purge cycle is used to remove any accumulated gas before the next attempt. This on-and-off pilot system is more efficient than the standing pilot system since the pilot is only lit at intervals. This saves on gas consumption and makes the total efficiency of the HVAC equipment increase better. The inter-purge function also has an added safety measure of safe gas clearing.
