Description
The Carrier 4364 is a feed nozzle, an often overlooked yet essential part of HVAC equipment, usually used in gas furnaces as well as in oil burners. The pilot operates like a miniature fuel line that supplies gas or oil to the burner assembly. This is where burning occurs and the heat that is used to warm your living room is produced. The liquid fuel drawn from the storage tank or the gas line gets into the burner assembly. This fuel flow is then accurately controlled by the feed nozzle to point towards a particular section in the burner. There, it combines with air, and whereby the mixture burns producing heat.
