The Carrier EA02SC215 is an essential part of Carrier refrigeration systems using R-22 refrigerant: this device is a capillary tube thermal expansion valve (TXV), which controls the flow of the refrigerant and adjusts the system’s efficiency. It uses a bi-metal spring that either dilates or contracts by refrigerant temperature. When cool liquid refrigerant gets into the valve, the spring contracts to let a particular amount of refrigerant through. The TXV controls the amount of refrigerant flow depending on the temperature to cool and avoid overloading the system. It assists in the right flow of refrigerant, which is beneficial to your system as it will not use much energy.
