The Carrier EA02SC362 Thermal Expansion Valve is an essential part of your Carrier HVAC system for R-22 refrigerant usage only. It controls the flow of the refrigerant by a bi-metal that changes its shape with the temperature change. Sweat or brazed connections are 4.6” wide and long with a height of 2.7” allowing for a solid connection to your Carrier equipment. The TXV is compact with a volume of 0.0331 cubic feet it can be easily installed in your HVAC system, and its construction is made of bi-metal, which guarantees long-lasting performance and effective cooling.
