Description
The Carrier EA36YD157 is a thermal expansion valve applied in air conditioning equipment such as air conditioners and refrigeration devices. It is responsible for the regulation of temperate via controlling flow of refrigerant. The TXV has a bi-metallic coil which changes its shape as a response to temperature fluctuation. When the temperature of the evaporator coil decreases the coil will expand which in turn allows greater amount of refrigerant to flow and heat. when the temperature increases to a high level the coil expands in sizes in order to reduce the flow of refrigerant therefore avoiding cases of overcooling.
