The Carrier HC39GE577 is a Permanent Split Capacitor motor which is used in different HVAC equipment. It uses single phase 575V power supply and has a quarter horsepower rating of the output. On it’s motor shaft , the motor rotates in a clockwise direction at an rpm of 1100. PSC motors have a relatively uncomplicated construction, high efficiency, and operational reliability. PSC motors employ a run capacitor and a main winding that produces a rotating magnetic field. This field surrounds the rotor and through interaction it offers a kind of force that rotates the shafts. These are common in blower applications, fan and condenser coils in HVAC systems.
