Description
The Carrier HC45AE461 motor is designed for heavy HVAC applications. The motor is a permanent split capacitor, and is well known for its reliability and efficiency. PSC motors have a run capacitor that is engaged during operation rather than disengaged which improves starting torque and overall performance over standard single phase motors. This particular motor is designed for 460 volt single phase AC power at 60 Hz geared for commercial and industrial use. At 10.5″ long x 5.5″ wide x 5.5″ high, it is small enough to fit into tight spaces in HVAC equipment. The Carrier is made of durable steel frame and aluminum flange for better strength and corrosion resistance.
