The Carrier HC680018 Direct Drive Blower Motor, is an essential component of the HVAC systems for residential and commercial applications. It is connected to a blower fan and through an electrical power supply the fan blades are rotated at high speeds. This movement blows air throughout the duct work and delivers warm or cool air depending on the operation mode of the system. It is a single phase motor, which means that it can be used on a normal residential power supply circuit. It provides a third horsepower 1/3 HP of output, effectively driving air volumes for conventional duct systems.
