The Carrier HD56AK656 motor is a Permanent Split Capacitor motor that is manufactured specifically to suit HVAC applications, especially air handling units and fan coil units or furnaces as well as air conditioners. Indispensable for the functioning of the system, the PSC motor operates parts of the HVAC unit, such as the blower fan. It is designed to operate optimally at 208-230 volts and 60 Hz frequency of power supply. In its operation, the motor’s shaft turns clockwise to supply power to other units. This makes it possible to use the motor as cooling starts as soon as the refrigerant temperature becomes lower making it efficient for use under low temperatures.
