Description
The Carrier HD680018 is a heavy duty electric motor that is used in different HVAC equipment. It is a 3 horsepower, three-phase motor which can be used on both 230V and 460V power supply making it convenient for different power sources. This produces a rotating magnetic field by receiving electrical current. This field interferes with the motor’s internal parts and makes a shaft rotate. This shaft rotation is then applied in driving of various HVAC apparatus such as compressors, condensers or evaporator fans. This is constructed in a manner that makes it long lasting especially in conditions that are rough.
