Description
The Carrier HH83LA028 Circuit Breaker is an essential component that is installed in different equipment of HVAC systems. Its main task is to protect a circuit from an excess of electrical current, for instance, in the case of a short circuit. This protects electrical components from overheating and getting destroyed. A circuit breaker works through a bimetallic strip; this is a strip made of two different metals fused due to their dissimilar coefficients of thermal conductivity. However, if the current is too high for the breaker, a bimetallic strip in the breaker heats up and bends this bending causes a mechanical mechanism that disconnection the electrical circuit.
