Description
The Carrier HK02ZB062 is a Low-Pressure Switch manufactured for the Carrier’s HVAC equipment, including heat pumps and air conditioners. It has an essentialrole in protecting the HVAC system. If the pressure within the refrigerant circuit falls to this level, the switch turns off the power supply to the compressor. This helps to protect the compressor from trying to compress low pressure which is dangerous and can cause the system to overheat. After the pressure issue has been resolved the system may self-start or may need to be restarted.
