Description
The Carrier HK02ZB063 Low Pressure Switch is a safety device for Carrier HVAC systems. This is usually accompanied by a 2″ sensor for a remote pressure check. It protects the system from low pressure conditions which are likely to harm the compressor. When the pressure goes below a certain level of 22°F, the switch shuts down the system. Another 7°F differential is to avoid unnecessary shutdowns due to minor pressure variations. Due to the ability of this switch to shut down the system when pressure is low, it protects the compressor from being damaged and makes the Carrier HVAC unit run efficiently.
