The Carrier HN67ER033 is a time delay relay, which is a miniature circuit controller that is applied in air conditioning systems to control the time delay of circuits. It puts on hold the activation or deactivation of a circuit by a certain amount of time as set by the user. This relay is small and easily portable, time delay relays are applied to control the sequence of the devices and avoid overloading of the equipment. For instance, a time delay relay can be applied to cause a delay with the operating of a fan, in order for the compressor to build operating pressure before the fan is switched on.
