Description
The Carrier KFADC0201SLP is a Downflow Conversion Kit, that is used to convert an upflow Carrier HVAC system, usually a furnace, to a downflow system. In an up-flow system, either warm or cool air is discharged from the unit. The benefit is associated with a downflow system of airflow, this is because it directs the airflow downwards. This conversion kit can be used in various installation positions and this is preferred where there is little headroom. It also makes downflow systems useful in ensuring even distribution of the air to the various parts of the living area eliminating hot and cold spots. This kit is suitable for a capacity of 1.5 to 3 tons.
