The Carrier KFCEH3301C20 Electric Heater 20-kilowatt single phase used in fan coil units. Fan coil units are used as heating as well as cooling systems in which a fan is employed to pass air across a coil. The coil can be heated by hot water or electricity, and it offers an electric heating type of supply. It has a self-regulating mechanism that detaches power if the heater attains a compromise temperature to avoid electric damage. The heater can be used together with a single-phase electrical power system of between 208 and 240 volts. The integration of a circuit breaker heater-like into the fan coil unit has the advantage of safety and protection of the HVAC equipment.
