The Carrier KM680004 Moisture Indicator is a 1/2“sweat or braze connection device utilized in Carrier HVAC systems to detect liquid moisture in refrigerant lines. It is the size of a large bar of soap and uses a bi-metal coil to show the presence of moisture. When moisture is present, the coil is activated and it changes color from silver to green or yellow. This fast and simple method of identification empowers technicians to fix any problems that may be in the process before they damage the system.
