The Carrier P251-0061 a small but vital part of HVAC equipment, especially furnaces and boilers. It is a rubber fan hub cap fits tightly over the blower fan’s exposed motor shaft. This seemingly simple cap is essentialto protect the motor shaft in case of water, dust, or other debris. These impurities are shut out by the cap and ensure the shaft is shielded and that the blower motor is operating as it is supposed to for circulation throughout the entire HVAC system. This is made of sturdy rubber and is easy to install because it is small 6” long by 4” wide by 1” tall.
