Description
The Carrier P257-8588 is a replacement direct drive blower motor for HVAC systems. It is a single-phase, 1/2 horsepower motor that works at 208-230 volts with a maximum RPM of 1075. This motor used a Permanent Split Capacitor approach, which is standard and efficient for obtaining multiple speeds. This has three-speed control settings that enable the regulation of the flow of air in the HVAC system. It’s designed with a flexible and bidirectional shaft for easy installation and orientation of the airflow in any direction.
