Description
The Carrier P282-0433A is a 3-Pole Contactor for Carrier HVAC equipment mainly for large air conditioners, heat pumps, and packaged terminal air conditioners. A strong relay that controls the high current in many circuits in the system. Its coil works at a higher voltage range of 208-240 VAC and is thus ideal for systems that need more power to energize the coil. When energized, the coil opens a switch enabling a high current of up to 40 A per circuit to pass through its 3 positions. This allows for the ability to control essentialfunctions in the HVAC system such as the compressor, blower motor and possibly a reversing valve at the same time.
