Description
The Carrier P502-8757S filter drier is a small device that is 3.7″ x 15.7″ x 3.1″ in size and aims to protect HVAC systems from moisture and acid in refrigerant lines. This drier is usually sweated or brazed into refrigerant lines. The filter drier contains 75% molecular sieve and 25% activated alumina to remove moisture and acid, leading to corrosion, ice formation, and wearing of system parts. Designed for use with refrigerants R-134A, R-404A & R-507, it can work up to a maximum pressure of 680 PSI. In short, this filter drier makes it possible to increase the life and performance of the HVAC system.
