Description
The Cleveland Controls DDP-109-436 is a versatile pressure switch that maintains proper air pressure in a variety of HVAC systems. It has two independently adjustable set points, which allow for fine control and the formation of a “deadband” between them. This means that the switch may initiate actions at both high and low pressure levels, thereby safeguarding equipment and assuring efficient operation. The DDP-109-436 is commonly used in air handlers, fan systems, and chillers. It works by sensing air pressure and opening or closing an electrical circuit based on specified points. When the pressure goes below the low set point, the circuit opens, causing the mechanism to activate. In contrast, surpassing the high set point causes the circuit to collapse, initiating corrective steps. This reliable pressure control protects equipment from harm and optimizes the system.
