Description
The Cleveland Controls NS2-0097-00 Pressure-sensing switch is essential in HVAC systems. It has an orifice of 0.016” to measure air pressure up to 1.00” WC and a tolerance of ± 0.05” WC. This switch can sense pressure changes in the order of one pound per square inch and cause actions such as turning on or off a fan or a damper due to flow rate changes. It is applied in air handlers, rooftop units, and some duct works to take care of necessary ventilation and control of fresh air circulation. Advantages are enhanced performance, energy conservation through non-operation during unfavorable conditions, and regulation of the indoor atmosphere through constant air circulation.
