Description
The ClimateMaster 69170800 Reversing valve-less coil applicable to geothermal heat pumps as HVAC systems. This component helps perform the heat transfer inside that unit and assists in switching the unit between the cooling and heating modes without a conventional reversing valve. It does not use complex passages to control the refrigerant flow, rather it uses a unique coil design to accomplish the same and possibly increase efficiency. This valve-less design means there are fewer opportunities for leakage and less requirement for maintenance than with mechanical valves.
