The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 048224 Filter Drier, EK-417S is a liquid line filter drier which is used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It has a connection size of 7/8” ODF and efficiently removes moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant for the better system performance. The filter drier comprises of a 20-micron outlet pad to improve filtration and it has a unique desiccant blend that increases water and acid capacity. These include increased system reliability, minimized corrosion chances, and increased equipment durability making it a vital component in effective HVAC system’s.
