Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 054140 Valve is high capacity valve meant for use in HVAC systems with R-22 refrigerant. It has a capacity of 5.5 tons and a 5-foot capillary length with connection of 3/8” x 1/2” SAE. This valve works based on the provision of refrigerant flow hence making the valves ideal for temperate control in cases of air conditioning or refrigeration needs. Advantages consist of the durability due to its stainless steel construction, and to the possibility to install it in confined areas due its small size.
