Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 091040 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an the essential component in HVAC systems as it controls the amount of refrigerant that gets to the evaporator coil. In its operation, it senses the vapor temperature and pressure after leaving the evaporator and adjusts the valve outlet opening to set the necessary superheat level. This assists in cooling well and does not allow the condensation liquid refrigerant to find its way into the compressor where it will cause the damage of the component. ODF connection is 1/2” X 5/8” and it is convenient to mount in various types of HVAC systems.
