Description
The EWC Controls URD-12 12-inch Round Motorized Damper is a control part to regulate the airflow in HVAC systems. This damper has a 24V motor which ensures power open and power closed functionality. When energized the motor actively opens or closes the damper providing a positive shut-off and eliminating any negative airflow. This is particularly essential to the zoning systems for it is then possible to regulate the temperatures in the various zones independently. It is normally used in ducts that are associated with furnaces, air handling units, or ventilation equipment. Advantages include better control of energy, better control of comfort in every zone, and less noise as compared to other types of dampers that are manually operated.
