Description
The Field Controls 46590508 Fresh Air Damper FAD-8 is a motorized airflow system used to regulate the intake of outside air into HVAC systems. This features an 8-inch round duct size and operates on 24 VAC with a power-open, power-close actuator, allowing controlled ventilation based on system demand. Established in fresh air intake ducts connected to return plenums or ventilation systems, where it modulates the amount of outdoor air entering the system. As part of the ventilation control system, it preserves indoor air quality, supports balanced airflow, and ensures proper integration with heating and cooling operations.
