Description
The Honeywell P7650L6 is a high quality velocity pick-up for air velocity measurement in HVAC systems. It is a fundamental part of airflow measurement and control systems. The pick-up uses a heated thermistor element which measures the cooling effect due to air passing over the sensor. As air velocity rises, cooling effect over the thermistor increases leading to a change in its resistance to flow of current. The change then it is converted into electric signal which corresponds to the air velocity in the room. Due to the 6-inch probe length of the P7650L6, the instrument is appropriate for a range of airflow applications within HVAC systems.
