Description
The Intermatic DTAV40E2 Defrost Timer controls defrost functions, and thus the functionality of refrigeration systems. Since frost affects the cooling capacity and efficiency of the evaporator coils it controls the duration and frequency of defrosting. This timer is used for maintaining perishable products, controlling temperature in the refrigerated rooms, and saving energy by controlling the defrosting cycles. Ensures that the system; energy consumption is reduced during thaw cycles so that it remains in optimum condition. Flexible with most HVAC systems by being dual voltage (120V/240V) and functioning at 50Hz and 60Hz. Ensures constant and reliable defrosting, to prevent ice formation which may cause system malfunctions.
