The Intermatic FF30MC is a single pole, single-throw spring wound timer intended to replace an ordinary toggle switch and manage electrical appliances without an external supply. This timer enables the timed use of lighting, fans, heaters, motors, and other appliances by turning the dial by hand for up to 30 minutes. After that, the internal spring mechanism offers energy to the circuit to sustain the time needed before it is turned off automatically. This helps avoid areas being lit or powered on inadvertently, it helps save energy. Due to the above features, this can be used in different applications.
